The 54Mbps Wireless-G Cardbus Adapter is an advanced IEEE
802.11g/b compatible, high performance, wireless card that supports
data transfer speeds of up to 54 Mbps or
up to 72Mbps
with turbo mode
in 802.11g.
There
is
also
integrated
with a built-in infrastructure mode. Therefore, it
is an
ideal
device for
home and SOHO networking to
a
share
high speed
internet
connection, files, printers,
and
multimedia
communications with the flexibility, speed
and security you need.
This Wireless-G Cardbus Adapter comes with software drivers for
the most popular Microsoft Windows operating systems and can be
integrated into a larger network, running Windows
Vista,
Windows XP, Windows 2000,
Windows ME, Windows 98SE, in either Ad Hoc mode (without an Access
Point) or Infrastructure mode (with an Access Point).
WEP
encryption and Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA), and further enhanced
with 802.1x authentication security. With drivers and utility
available for most commonly used Windows OS. The 2.4GHz 802.11g/b
Wireless Cardbus Adapter is a truly solid-design networking device
that provides you with the ultimate freedom of wireless networking
anywhere.
A setup wizard is provided as the part of the web
configuration utility. You can simply follow the step-by-step
process to get your wireless PC Card configuration ready to run in
few
easy steps by clicking on the “Wizard” button on the function
menu.
